School Closes for 2 Weeks

Tonight, I heard from the news that the government in my home town (Hong Kong) has announced all the kindergarden and primary schools are closed for 2 weeks due to the wide spread of the swine flu. After the incident of "H5N1" years ago, the government took a much more active approach to deal with incident such as the swine flu. Public are being alerted and updated as soon as possible and as frequently as possible.

In contrary, United States is very different. I can listen to the news every half hour in the radio station in Hong Kong but I can't seem to catch any local news on the radio in here.

I wonder how God communicate to us? An active approach or a hands-off approach? Perhaps we, as human, are so busy and so forgetful that even God tells us every half-hour,  we still don't get it. A willingness to listen is very important, it can help us to avoid harm.
