If you use the internet, chances are you get tons of discount offers, promotional announcements in your Inbox all the time. Some of the promotions are genuine and some are just hoax. So how do you treat those email? Although you might see some great offers, you might choose to ignore them because you are too busy to deal with more information already.
I think our spiritual enemy is using the tactic of information overload to bombard our lives so we grow weary of distinguishing the differences between the truth and the hoax. And leads us to ignore the genuine goodness that God has to offer.
The bible has warned us about this long time ago, "All things are full of weariness; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing." (Ecclesiastes 1:8, ASV)
The solutions: "28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good--not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne." (Matthew 11: 28-30, AMP)
