Is it even possible for a person who has never written a diary before to record what God teaches him every single day? This is a challenge and an experiment for me. I hope what God teaches me would benefit you also.

How to Be Happy?

A lot of people think about things, family, entertainment when come to "happiness". Many Christians take the verse "I can do all things through him who strengthens me." (Phi 4:13, NIV) out of the context and establish a god who would do on their commands. They ask for things to fulfill their own selfish desires. I think I might have been guilty of that at some point in time as well.

In verse 4:11-12, apostle Paul wrote: "I have learned to be content with whatever I have. I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need." The secret of "true happiness" is about "contentment".

We can count our blessings, accept of who we are, even drop the "just because he has, so I ought to have" attitude. But above all, we have to know that having Jesus is truly enough.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God
And His righteousness;
And all these things shall be added unto you.
Hallelu, Hallelujah!

It's a promise from God. If we humble ourselves and seek Him first, only then we'll find the fountain of true happiness.
